Our Values
Integrity
Through our words, actions, and attitudes, we will act according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and consistently demonstrate behavior that honors God. We strive to do everything with excellence.
Biblical Truth
We will hold fast to the unchanging, infallible principles of God’s Holy Word as the foundation and standard for all decisions.
Encouragement
We will minister to church leaders and their members to build them up and fully embrace God’s calling on their lives. We will invest in the lives of others, sharing each other’s burdens and rejoicing in each other’s victories. We consider others more important than ourselves.
Teamwork
We can’t accomplish the mission of God if we are not all on the same page. We strive to work together with our strategic partners so that our vision can be efficiently and effectively carried out. We invite the ideas and opinions of others. We defer to one another’s unique abilities and gifts. We have authority that matches our level of responsibility. We rally together for common goals.
Prayer
We honor God with our hearts and minds and commit our plans to the Lord, knowing that He directs our steps. May our calling be sure, may our vision be clear, and may our work glorify the Lord.
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
~ Proverbs 16:3
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.”
~ Proverbs 16:9
Confidentiality
We will honor the people we are serving by practicing discretion in all communications. Breaches of confidentiality will damage and diminish the effectiveness to which we are striving to provide.
Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired and only written revelation to man. It is true, authoritative, sufficient, and without error.
(Psalm 119:89; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:23, 25; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
God
There is only one true God, Creator of heaven and earth. God has all power and authority, and is in control of all things. God exists as three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2)
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully man. Jesus lived a sinless life, and offered his life as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. He was crucified, buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven, and will return to this earth. (Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1, 14; 3:16; I Corinthians 15:3-7; Acts 1:11; Luke 24:1-53)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God. His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells the believer at the time of salvation, baptizes the believer into the body of Christ, and equips the believer with spiritual gifts. He is the seal and guarantee of our inheritance in Christ. He guides, teaches, and empowers the believer who is submitted to God’s authority.
(John 15:26, 16:8, 3:3-6, 14:16-17, 14:26)
Mankind
All people are created in the image of God. Because of Adam’s sin, all people are sinful by nature and by choice. Apart from forgiveness of sins through Christ, all are lost and enemies of God. (Genesis 1:27, 3:1-6; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3)
Salvation
Salvation rests solely on the work of God’s grace. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, and not by our own works. Christ’s death is the only acceptable payment for sin. All who genuinely believe in Christ are born again, and have become the children of God. All of salvation, including repentance and faith, is a result of God drawing us, opening our eyes, and changing our hearts. God’s longsuffering leads us to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), as does His kindness (Romans 2:4). We are now blameless in the eyes of God because of the perfect life and work of Christ on the cross. (Romans 3:23-26; 4:1-3; John 1:12-13; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6)
Bodily Resurrection
All who truly believe in Jesus Christ will experience eternal life and fellowship with Christ. All who do not truly believe in Jesus Christ will experience the wrath of God, and eternal punishment. (Luke 16:19-31, 23:43; Revelation 20:11-15)
The Church
We believe the Church, which began with the baptizing work of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, is the body and the promised bride of Christ, a spiritual organism made up of all believers of this present age. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-27) The local church exists to exalt Christ, encourage believers, and evangelize the world.
We believe that all believers should live in such a manner as to glorify and represent Christ to a lost and dying world. They should strive to live and walk in the Spirit and not bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord. This would include separation from all religious apostasy, all ungodly and sinful pleasures, and all immoral and unscriptural practices and associations as commanded by God. (Romans12:1-2, 14:23; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; Galatians 5:16-26; Ephesians 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Titus 2:11-14;
1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11)
We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches are clearly taught and defined in the New Testament. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 14:27, 20:17; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11; Hebrews 10:25)
